About Easy Thali

Easythali, a unit of Ivorysands, is a dine-in restaurant and takeaway located in Hyderabad, India. Easythali has its main branch in Begumpet and is expanding its outlets to other localities in Hyderabad. At present, the average sale is the equivalent of about 150 thali trays per day. Easythali has tied up with food delivery aggregators for the delivery of their products, which has not yielded significant benefits to date.

Scope of Work

Some of the areas where Easythali lacked were marketing congruence, including look and feel of both physical assets and website, brand presence, branded customer interaction, pre-defined marketing strategies, search engine optimization, social media optimization and marketing, email marketing, customer relationship management, marketing communication, and brand positioning. An Integrated Marketing and Communication Strategy needed to be created, with a coherent and consistent branding and positioning so that the current dissonance is reduced, and customers are attracted to the product.

Datawise Assignment

  • Datawise created a brand identity for Easy Thali, designed, and executed a multi-channel Advertising Campaign focused on Easy Thali’s target audience segment – young salaried workers
  • An initial needs assessment was followed- up by social media, public OOH, flyers, and posters, billboard advertising campaigns to raise awareness and perception at key locations with a high concentration of the target segment
  • A website was developed to display the fare available and to place orders
  • Created and executed the complementary Food Manufacturing and Processing Application which is used to manage the Catering and Restaurant Management operations
  • Developed a Multi-user, multi-location application for coordinating inventory stock levels, reorder, transfers, pricing, and cost accounting
  • Intelligent handling of inventory to provide for perishable pantry items
  • Recipe and cooking instruction handling for standardization of food quality Standardization of Nutritional and Manufacturing process quality elements to adhere to international standards across multiple locations.
